Voting for DrupalCon 2012 presentations closes on November 14!

Akiban Technologies is planning to attend DrupalCon 2012 in Denver on March 20 in force. The timing works well, as we expect to have our first product announced by then and we also expect to demonstrate Drupal 7 ported to work natively on the open source version of Akiban Server.

What benefits will that bring to the Drupal community? For starters, across the board performance improvement relative to MySQL for large Drupal deployments. But more importantly, it supports more reliable scaling, especially when modules such as CCK and Views are applied. And it promises a more convenient programming model for Drupal, matching direct object access with full SQL reporting capabilities.

We have proposed three sessions for DrupalCon:

Please help us get these proposed sessions accepted by rating them on the DrupalCon website (you have to register if you have not yet done so, and then mark for each of the sessions that you will visit it).

We hope to meet you in Denver at these presentations!
